Warpaint's self titled second album was one of my top 10 records of 2014. I finally got to see them live at the Regency in San Francisco last fall and and it was amazing. I was so pleased to see they were able to create the subtle depth and space of the record live and not just muscle through it like a lot of rock bands are wont to do these days. I was particularly enthralled by a song they played called "No Way Out." I was hoping it was a cut from a new album in the works because it was it was one of the highlights of the show. Recently, they debuted the track live on BBC 1 with Zane Lowe and it is awesome. The studio "redux" version is up on Youtube now. My only complaint is that it's only 3 minutes long. The version they've been doing live stretches out over 7 minutes. My guess is this is just a taste of what is to come. From their official Youtube site, "The first in a series of new songs being released this year, No Way Out was premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show Feb 24, 2015."
UPDATE: They did release the full version of No Way Out, and it is awesome:
